As with attempting to test my game now with all the possibilities now attached, the game does have a considerable amount of difficulty and does force yout to have to bring out new cards, which is something that i wanted as it would present more challenges in a fun way but did not become overbearing and or overwhelm the player as they started, the game has been elevated a considerable amount and now it is just amdist refining and adding more cards, testing each of the abilities against monsters and seeing what works well and what will need to be impr9ved as time proceeds
I would say the difficulty curve is relatively moderate, progression “seems” fair and stat building is simplistic, though i will maybe need to find an easier way to make the quick calculations for health and armor stats to make the gameplay a little smoother, though i myself am finding the experience fun and enthralling, the start up for the game is relatively slow, but doesnt lend itself to the words, boring per se, there is a sense of tension as you start and power as you do start knocking down enemies one after the other, each mech has their own capabilities that dont make them overpowered, but strong enough to withstand alot of the powerful cards put in front of them, although, some of the cards may need to be nerfed and modified slightly as they have the ability to “one shot kill” the player, i want to give the players more of a chance during the fight and give them more of a chance to lose parts throughout a fight , yet still be able to arise victorious from a fight that has completely destroyed their mech
As with dealing with supporting visuals for my game, i will need to use dark background for my cards to help distinguish them from the back ground, i do not have the means to do this at this moment in time, though i have some items back home that can help alleviate the issue, such as playmats, which i will be using for the documentary i will attempt to create soon. As of now, and with all the work i have made so far and with more testing on the way, i am confident in my work and feel very capable with what i have done so far
