As of submitting the dev journal, i will still haveva few things to organize and get on track with such as creating a documentary, a playthrough of my game, and social media posting to gain traction of some sort
I have the programs and some know how on editing, but i will be educating myself with tutorials to make it as good as it can be, i have downloaded Black magic resolve, the free version, and will attempt to be deep diving into the fundamentals of editing, colour grading, masking, etc. Though my set of particular skills for this field may be particularly rusty. I will be refining them over the next few weeks to make something that is easily readable and can help make the game more understandable

As with the documentary, i will be attempting to write a short two minute script, which overlaps gameplay or some other form of backdrop that i can put over the top of my explanation and thought process of the making behind make a mech and what inspired me to do so, although i will be figuring out what to do so in the near future to make it a possibility and hopefully make into some semi-decent quality
The only other thing that has some improtance is still filling out the other two decos and giving them a bit more variety with cards, nerfing a few specific monster cards and finding a balance in the way fights work to a degree, which may take a little longer then expected, but the game works and it’s fun and challenging, it does bring a sense of tension and some form of strategy which is quite satisfying if i do say so myself.
Social media has been added to, so far accumulating under ten posts in total as i am writing this, but will be adding more to both twitter and instagram soon, as they were my main choices of presenting myself and garnering maybe some kind of attention. Though it still early days.
Last but not least is continuing work on my rulebook and adding contextual photos to help players get a better understanding of how to play make a mech without having to read a wall of text, and can help them understand the game easier with said additions to the rulebook for ease of reading for all ages, i have the pictures already created and framed how i want them for contextual purposes, now is just putting the pieces together and filling in the gaps as best as possible.
Overall, i am quietly confident of the work i have made so far and feel rather accomplished in what i have created so far, i will be working hard to accomplish the rest of my goals to a degree to hopefully end this year on a high note and get the best score possible, heres hoping the next few weeks dont fly by too quick.
